The cause about ball mill’s low investment costs is specificly as follows:

Firstly, as you already know ,the ball mill is a set of crushing、drying、grinding and grading conveyor together, so the entire system of the vertical mill is very simple and the layout is compact enough.

Secondly,compared with vertical mill, the area on the ground of ball mill is about its 50 percentand you don’t need something to cover the mining machine. It’s unnecessary to put the grinder mill in a room. Here you can see that the ball mill cost is much lower than vertical mill which will significantly reduce our investment.

Apart from above factors, ball mill can also bring two apparent superiorities .

The first is high grinding efficiency. When ball mill runs, the roller directly mills on the ring. While traditional mining machine still adopts some coarse working principle ,the ball mill can save engery about 30-40%.

What’s more,the roller is a certain distance away from the millstone in the running ,and some high-quality materials have been used to make the roller and plate. All these ensure less wear and longer life for our mining machine.

Another point is that during the running of ball mill, hot air will be direct in touch with material when we can get different humidity materials just by changing the temperature of hot air. There is no doubt that we will save a great amount of engery.

Banro Updates Mine Construction Progress at its Twangiza Gold Project

Banro Corporation (“Banro” or the “Company”) (NYSE AMEX – “BAA”; TSX – “BAA”) reports that construction of its wholly-owned Twangiza “Phase I” gold mine in South Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo (the “DRC”), is proceeding quickly and that the Company remains on schedule to begin commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2011.

The following progress is reported:
All bulk earthworks have been completed at the plant site.

All gold plant components have arrived on site from Australia and assembly of the plant is underway. Progress on mechanical works is on schedule.

Civil works are 38% completed.

Mining schedules are being prepared on site and are encouraging in that they show slightly better results than those achieved in the July 2009 Twangiza Feasibility Study.

Widening of the main access road has been completed and access established to the bottom of the tailings management facility (TMF) site and the upper stream diversion. The road from the plant site to the top of the proposed TMF wall is rapidly approaching the position of the lower stream diversion.

The construction camp already houses a growing workforce. This facility is to be completed by the end of this week, with the management units to be finished by mid-December 2010.

Construction of the 100th new house has begun at the resettlement village of Cinjira. To date, 86 households out of a projected total of 433 households have been resettled at Cinjira.

Thousands Protest Possible Uranium Mining In Armenia

More than two thousand people rallied in southeastern Armenia on Thursday to voice their strong opposition to plans by the Armenian and Russian governments to jointly develop uranium reserves believed to be located in the mountainous area.

The two governments set up in early 2008a joint venture tasked with conducting exploratory work in the Syunik province bordering Iran and Azerbaijan. It was already explored by Soviet geologists in the 1950-1907s and estimated to contain 30,000 metric tons of uranium ore.

Shaker Screen

Working Principle:

The unique gyratory motion imparts a combination of actions to the material as it passes along the screen surface. It begins with a horizontal circular motion at the feed end, gradually diminishing along the length of the machine to an elliptical path, and finally to an approximate straight-line motion at the discharge end. There is no vertical component to this motion thus keeping the material in constant contact with the screen surface.

The gyratory motion at the feed end of the machine immediately spreads the material across the full width of the screen surface to maximize screen utilization even though the feed is from a single point. At the same time, this motion stratifies the material, causing the fines to sink down against the screen surface. The particles that are appreciably smaller than the openings quickly pass through at this part of the screen.As the circular motion diminishes into an elliptical path, the gentle near-horizontal motion causes the fine particles closer in size to the screen mesh the near-size particles to fall through the mesh openings.The nearly linear reciprocating motion at the discharge end of the Gyratory Screener removes those particles closest in size to the mesh openings while gently conveying the oversize material off the screen.

Other structures:

1)Cable suspended device

Screeners is cable-suspended from the four corners of the machine, thereby isolating out-of-balance screening forces from the surrounding structure. Accurate counterbalancing of the Screener makes this installation option possible. As with conventional cable suspension, this option effectively isolates the horizontal out-of-balance screening forces, helping to minimize costs for new structures.
