After 25 years in the oil industry, rig manager Bob Goodwin has now seen it all.

Goodwin, 45, of Rocky Mountain House, was part of the 18-member Precision Drilling Corporation team who went to Chile to help rescue 33 miners trapped underground in the San Jose copper and gold mine in the Atacama Desert on Aug. 5.

The Precision team arrived Sept. 8 after the Chilean government called on them to drill a hole to rescue the workers stuck beneath 700 metres of rock.
